This Privacy Policy explains how BeatRender collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: username, email address, and password (hashed)
• Connected platform data: OAuth access tokens for the platforms you choose to link (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, SoundCloud), together with the public identifier, username and profile picture of the linked account. Tokens are stored encrypted and are used solely to publish content on your behalf
• Usage data: logs of actions performed within the platform for debugging and analytics
• Content data: beat files, thumbnails, titles, and metadata you provide

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and provide access to the service
• To upload and manage content on connected platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, SoundCloud, BeatStars, Airbit, TrakTrain) on your behalf
• To improve the reliability and performance of the platform
• To communicate service updates or important notices

3. YouTube API Services

BeatRender uses the YouTube API Services. Our use of data obtained through the YouTube API is subject to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service. Google's Privacy Policy applies to information provided by YouTube.

You may revoke BeatRender's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account Permissions page.

4. Instagram (Meta Platform)

BEATRENDER uses the Instagram API with Instagram Login to let you publish Reels on your own professional (Business or Creator) Instagram account. When you link your account we request two permissions: instagram_business_basic, to display the username and profile picture of the linked account in your settings, and instagram_business_content_publish, to publish the videos you schedule. We never read your messages, followers, comments or private data, and we never publish anything you have not explicitly scheduled.

Data received from Instagram is subject to the Meta Privacy Policy. You may revoke BEATRENDER's access at any time from Instagram (Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites), or by clicking Disconnect in the Accounts tab of your BEATRENDER settings — see Data deletion.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We only share data with third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, SoundCloud, BeatStars, Airbit, TrakTrain) as required to provide the service you requested.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data yourself at any time (see below), or ask us to do it.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete the data BEATRENDER holds about you at any time, without contacting us:

• Unlink a platform (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, SoundCloud): in the dashboard, open Settings → Accounts and click Disconnect next to the platform. The access token and the linked account identifier are deleted immediately from our servers. Revoking BEATRENDER from the platform itself (for example from Instagram's Apps and websites page) has the same effect: the stored token becomes unusable and is discarded.
• Delete your whole account: open Settings → Account management → My data (GDPR) and click Delete my account. Your profile, beats, renders, settings, scheduled publications and all platform tokens are permanently deleted. This is irreversible.
• By email: write to contact@beatrender.app from the address of your account. Deletion is carried out within 30 days and confirmed by email.

Content already published on a third-party platform (a video on YouTube, a Reel on Instagram…) belongs to your account on that platform and is not removed by deleting your BEATRENDER data.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent and revoke API access at any time

10. Chrome Extension (BeatRender Publisher)

The BeatRender Publisher browser extension publishes beats you prepared in your BeatRender dashboard to your own BeatStars account, by filling in the BeatStars upload form on your behalf. It is only ever started by you, from the dashboard, and never uploads anything on its own.

The extension stores the following locally, in your browser, on your own machine:

• Your BeatStars session token, read from your browser's own requests to BeatStars and used solely to detect whether you are currently signed in. It is never sent to BeatRender or to any third party.
• Your BeatStars display name, read from the BeatStars page, so the dashboard can show which account will receive the uploads.
• A short-lived pairing code issued by BeatRender, which lets the extension download your own rendered audio and artwork.

Stems archives you select are read directly from your browser and uploaded straight to BeatStars; they never pass through BeatRender's servers. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of the data above.

The extension sends BeatRender technical diagnostics about each upload (which step ran, how long it took, and the error if one occurred) so that we can fix failures. These diagnostics contain no personal data and no BeatStars credentials.

11. Cookies and Audience Measurement

BeatRender uses no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. We only use your browser's local storage (localStorage / sessionStorage) for what is strictly necessary: keeping you signed in, and remembering the page you first arrived from.

We measure site traffic with our own tool, hosted on our own servers: no data is sent to any third-party service. For each page viewed we record the page, the referring site and the date. Visitor counts rely on an anonymous fingerprint derived from your IP address and browser, mixed with a random key that is rotated every day: your IP address is never stored, and the fingerprint becomes useless after 24 hours. It is therefore impossible to track you from one day to the next, or to re-identify you. This measurement sets no cookie and does not require your consent.
