Titles now match the artist you're targeting
- When you target an artist, the suggested title matches their world instead of falling back on a catch-all formula.
- BPM detection rebuilt: it no longer lands an octave off on slow beats.
- The extension warns you and updates itself as soon as a new version ships.
Fixes
- Generated titles came out empty when your title history was empty too.
A watermark you stop noticing
- The free-plan watermark is smaller, more transparent and kept out of frame: it no longer eats your video.
Every creative tool is now free
- Video editor, thumbnail editor, templates, detection, title generation: nothing is locked behind a paid plan any more.
- The free plan lets you publish 5 productions a month. Past that you move to a paid plan, but you never lose a tool.
Publishing to YouTube Shorts
- Your beats also go out as Shorts, using the vertical render already built for TikTok: nothing extra to set up.
- Shorts uses your existing YouTube connection — no second account to link.
- This changelog page goes public, and shows up in your dashboard too.
Artist suggestions keep themselves up to date
- You no longer type the rapper list by hand: it fills itself in and refreshes every 30 days.
- You get warned when a YouTube or TikTok account disconnects while you still have releases scheduled on it.
- You can change template after signing up.

- Deleting a production left its scheduled YouTube upload active.
One page for your productions
- Beats and results are now a single page: follow a beat from import to publication without switching screens.

Three template families, with the demo before you pick
- Every template family ships with its video example: you see the result before committing, instead of guessing from a name.

You can see how long a result has left
- Every result shows the time left before it's automatically deleted, 7 days after it was created. No more renders vanishing without warning.

- Login rejected your username when the letter case didn't match.
Subscriptions are open
- You can subscribe online and switch plans whenever you want.

Your stems are read from your PC, never stored
- The extension reads your stems straight off your computer at upload time. Nothing is copied to our servers along the way.
- A recap email every week, plus a notification every time a beat goes live.
BeatRender reads your beat's mood
- Mood and style are detected on import, then used to suggest a title that actually fits the beat.
- A Pexels footage library is built in, with two modes: footage picked per artist, or random.
- You can export an editor's configuration and import it onto another beat.
Hand-pick your footage if you want
- Two modes now: let BeatRender pick the footage, or choose it yourself one by one.
- Black bars on sourced footage are cropped automatically.
Still-image mode, for beats with no footage
- No footage for your artist? BeatRender finds images and builds a still-image video, thumbnail included.
- Render colour grading has been recalibrated: videos no longer come out darkened.
- If a render fails, you see which step broke and relaunch it in one click.
Fixes
- The sepia tint was applied too strongly on some renders.
- Variables weren't substituted in generated thumbnails.
The dashboard fits in your phone
- Everything works with your thumb, editors included: you can schedule a release from your bed.
- Renders go through a queue, with a preview before publishing.
- A Scheduling screen gathers your upcoming releases, so you can cancel one without hunting for it.
Light theme, and undo / redo
- A light theme joins the dark one: pick yours, the app remembers.
- Undo and redo work in both editors, from the button or the keyboard.
- You pick your render quality in the settings.
- You can create your account with Google.
Fixes
- Some text was unreadable in the light theme.
BPM and key detected on import
- Drop your beat: BPM and key are found on their own, then filled into your BeatStars uploads.
- Your collaborators get their alias and split, applied automatically on every upload.
Keyboard shortcuts in the editors
- Copy, paste, duplicate, hide, delete and nudge your elements from the keyboard, like in an editing suite.
TikTok publishing at the time you choose
- Schedule a TikTok release exactly like a YouTube one: set the day and time, BeatRender handles the rest.
The 9:16 vertical format
- Video editor, thumbnail editor and generation: 9:16 is supported end to end, from the same beat as your YouTube format.
- Audio is baked straight into the render.
Fixes
- The picture was stretched on vertical renders.
- Progress shown for vertical thumbnails was wrong.
Video rendering gets 5× faster
- New render engine: roughly 5× less waiting, at equal or better quality. A render you used to launch before lunch now finishes while you write the description.
Fixes
- Footage that wasn't 30 frames per second caused stutter in the render.
Your text stays put whatever the format
- New anchoring system: text pinned bottom-right stays bottom-right, whether the output is 16:9 or 9:16.
- You can drop video overlays into the editor.
Film grain and adjustable letterboxing
- Add film grain to the render to break the digital look.
- Black bars are adjustable in the editor instead of being imposed.
- Right-click in the editors offers centre, align and duplicate.
Fixes
- Selection handles turned invisible when the footage had black bars.
The thumbnail editor
- Build your thumbnails the way you build your videos: text, images, positioning, instant preview. No more detour through an outside tool between render and upload.
The video editor
- A real editing suite in your browser: place your text, set positions, cut your clip — no software to install.
Your renders keep going without you
- Close the tab, come back later: you find your renders exactly where they were, nothing to relaunch.
- You pick which beats to render, instead of firing off the whole batch.
Fixes
- Launching a single step still triggered the whole chain.
A purpose-built audio player
- Listen to your beats right inside the dashboard, without leaving the page or opening a separate tab.
One conversion step fewer before the render
- Video is encoded straight into its final format: the intermediate conversion step is gone, and so is the wait it added.
Title generator
- No more blank page: a title is suggested for every beat, and you regenerate it until one clicks.
Tagged MP3 as your video's audio
- You choose, in the settings, whether your YouTube video uses your tagged version or the clean one.
Fixes
- Tagged versions were treated as separate beats and generated duplicate footage.
Your thumbnails go to BeatStars too
- The thumbnail is uploaded along with the beat — no more adding it by hand.
- Your BeatStars Pro link is pulled into your video descriptions automatically.
Fixes
- The Beat page broke when no Pro page was set.
Your thumbnails stay in the app
- A thumbnail you create is saved to your account instead of just downloaded, and you can set it as the default.
No two of your videos look alike any more
- Footage already used on a beat you published gets set aside: your next videos draw from elsewhere.
The extension tells you when it's done
- You're notified as soon as a BeatStars upload finishes, instead of watching the tab.
- The connected BeatStars account is shown plainly: no more publishing from the wrong one.
Collaborators and custom splits
- Declare your collaborators with their alias and percentage once: every BeatStars upload applies them on its own.
YouTube title and description, written once
- Build your title and description with variables in the settings: every beat fills them in on its own.
- Generated tags now run up to YouTube's 500-character limit, instead of leaving half of it unused.
YouTube publishing from the dashboard

Schedule your releases ahead of time
- Set the day and time for each beat; the release goes out on its own when the moment comes.
